Recipe for Banana Mash



1/2 ripe banana
1/4 cup non-dairy yogurt (I use soy yogurt that I make in the Instant Pot)
1/4 tsp. turmeric
1/8 tsp. ginger
1/2 cup seasonal chopped fruit (apple, pear, nectarine, peach, plum, mango, etc.)
1 T ground flaxseed
1/2 cup berries

In a flat-bottom bowl, mash banana lightly with a fork. Stir in yogurt. Sprinkle with turmeric and ginger. Add fruit and stir well. Sprinkle ground flaxseed over mixture. Top with berries (optional). Dr. Greger now says that it's better not to eat bananas and berries at the same time, so I put some raw almonds or pecans on top.
