Instruction in my Studio by Appointment

I offer instruction for adults, teens, and children in my studio by appointment. Instruction can be as short as one hour, or can be up to six hours per day. We can arrange a time that is convenient for both of us, including days, nights, and weekends. Some students take lessons on a regular basis, such as an hour or two per week. Others come to the studio occasionally for a lesson to get started with a new concept, and then practice their skills at home for as long as necessary until they are ready for the next step.

My studio instruction fee is $20.00 per hour. This hourly fee can be for individual instruction, or can be shared by two children or up to four adults. A combination of ages can be fun for everyone, with adults helping the younger ones (or sometimes the other way around!).

My studio occupies the entire second floor of our home. My husband converted an unfinished attic into this beautiful space, which has skylights, a ceiling which reaches 16 feet high, and the original wood floors. You will be surrounded by colorful yarn, examples of my work since the 1980s, and textiles that I've collected from around the world.

I have all the necessary tools and a large selection of yarns and books. You are welcome to use my tools while you are here, and can purchase whatever you would like to take home. If you are coming from out of town, you can make arrangements to stay overnight.
