Cords and Cord Kits
I make all of the cords in my studio using a Bradshaw cordmaker attached to an electric drill. For children, or those with impaired vision, the easiest cords to use are 2-ply cotton cords, 1/4" diameter.

Color Chart for Cotton Cords
This color chart shows 4-ply, 1/8" diameter cords. There are four options for cotton cords: 4-ply, 1/8"; 4-ply, 1/4"; 2-ply, 1/8", and 2-ply, 1/4". I may revise the chart eventually so you can see each of the four options for each color. I use 10/2 perle cotton for the 1/8" diameter cords, and 5/2 perle cotton for the 1/4" diameter cords.
I make the cotton cords with 15% shrinkage during IOT, which gives them a medium amount of twist. If you want firmer cords, please specify a higher percentage (up to 25%).
If you don't see the color you want, please ask. I might have it! You may also custom order cords made with your yarn. Please e-mail me for information.

This color chart shows 4-ply and 2-ply paper cords, 1/4" diameter. I use Wraphia II paper ribbon by Berwick to make these cords. They are great for making ply-split baskets!
