This basket is made with Danish Cord, a 3-ply cord used for weaving chair seats. It works well for ply-splitting. As far as I know, it only comes in kraft brown. It probably could be dyed -- I haven't tried it yet. If you have experience with dyeing Danish Cord, please let me know.
