Blue Mist Ply-Split Basket

I made the cords from "extra-limp" fishing line, and unplied all of the ends. They have a mind of their own!

This basket was shown in the exhibition "Beyond Tradition: New Ply-Split Fiber Sculpture" at Contemporary Crafts Museum and Gallery in Portland, Oregon in 2004.
